Avanera Residential Bacău

Located in proximity to both a major commercial center and the lakeside landscape, the project operates at the intersection between an active urban environment and a more open, natural landscape. This dual condition becomes the starting point for the architectural strategy.

The building is conceived as a perimeter ensemble that defines a generous inner courtyard, protected yet visually connected to the surrounding context. The courtyard acts as the central element of the project, offering a shared green space and structuring the relationship between the different functions.

A key aspect of the design is the creation of clear and dynamic spatial connections between the public realm and the interior of the ensemble. Ground-level passages and visual openings establish continuity between the street and the courtyard, allowing the project to remain permeable and engaged with the city.

The lower levels accommodate complementary urban functions: commercial spaces at ground floor activate the street frontage, while the first floor hosts office spaces. The upper levels are dedicated to residential units, benefiting from favorable orientations, natural light, and views towards the lake.

The volumetric configuration responds both to the immediate urban constraints and to the distant landscape. Openings, terraces, and orientations are carefully positioned to capture views of the lake, while the overall composition ensures a balanced relationship with the neighboring buildings.

Through a clear organizational logic and a focus on spatial continuity, the project aims to create a coherent residential environment that connects urban intensity with the quality of living associated with proximity to nature.
